Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is known for his ability to take the top of that defense. It’s one of the primary reasons the Baltimore Ravens selected this former Oklahoma standout in the first round of April’s draft.
Despite injury issues during the offseason, Brown was active and ready to go Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
How much so? He decided to blitz a helpless Miami Dolphins defense for a 47-yard touchdown on this catch and run from Lamar Jackson.
Later in the opening stanza, Brown burnt the Dolphins to the tune of an 83-yard touchdown for his second score of the game.
That’s 130 yards and two touchdowns on two receptions within the first 10-plus minutes of his debut.
Teams might want to think about putting a safety over the top against Brown. Just some food for thought.
Brown is an immediate threat to take it to the house on a consistent basis. These touchdowns early in his regular-season debut proved that to a T.
