Tyreek Hill maintains innocence: Son’s health and happiness No. 1 priority

NFL top 100 players: Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill has issued a statement after he was not charged with child abuse following an investigation could not prove who hurt his three-year-old son.

The district attorney who was investigating the case said that a crime was committed, but that they could not prove Hill or his fiance, Crystal Espinal, were involved in the acts that hurt the child.

On Thursday morning, Hill released the following statement, in which he maintains his innocence and says his son’s health and happiness are his first priorities.

The Kansas City Chiefs also released a statement on the matter Wednesday evening, though it really was more of a “no comment” than anything else.

While Hill has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in this case, he could still face league discipline. The Ezekiel Elliott case is clear precedent that criminal charges are not required for a suspension under the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy.
