My goodness Tim Tebow has a flair for the dramatic. In his first ever at-bat playing AA ball for the Birmingham Rumble Ponies — an affiliate of the New York Mets, Tebow launched a moon shot that went yard.
Here’s a video of Tebow’s incredible blast, which he launched on the first pitch he saw.
First pitch and it’s GONE! @TimTebow goes deep in his first Double-AA at bat!

It’s not the first time he’s done this, either, if you remember. He blasted a two-run shot in his first ever professional at-bat, last year (watch here).
Whether this means anything in the long run really doesn’t matter. Tebow knows how to make an entrance. And furthermore, fans will be flocking to watch him play the rest of the season, even more than before.
