More Stefon Diggs drama following Buffalo Bills latest loss

Stefon Diggs and the Buffalo BIlls are coming off yet another disappointing performance in a season-opening loss to the New York Jets.

This loss came after an offseason of drama surrounding the Pro Bowl receiver and his team. Unfortunately, things don’t seem like they’re dying down any time soon.

Ealier this week, Buffalo Bills reporter Maddy Glab was caught on a hot mic taking a shot at Diggs during a press conference.

“Hey, there’s no control over Stefon Diggs. He’s gonna do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face, say ‘FU.’ It’s how he treats everybody,” Glab said about Diggs.

Following these comments, Diggs himself responded on social media.

“The audio shared was very hurtful. And was insulting to my character and to how I was raised. I’ve always treated people how I want to be treated. I greet everyone with smiles and respect. From the people in our cafe to the people that keep our building in clean & in order,” Stefon Diggs wrote on Twitter (X).

The media or fans may confuse my competitiveness that they witness on the field as who I am as a person. But off the field Id never treat anyone how she described & have never said anything remotely close to that to her.”

Diggs went on to indicate that Glab’s recent hot mic comment is yet another example of why people don’t want to deal with the media.

The backdrop here is Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs calling on his brother to go somewhere else. Buffalo’s star pass-catcher had in the past pushed back against the narrative that he wanted out of Western New York.

100% not true. I don’t know who the source is but I thought I nip this sh*t in the bud already,’ Diggs wrote on social media back in August. Despite this, teams are monitoring the situation between the Pro Bowler and his organization should things spiral out of control.

It was following last season’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional Playoffs that Diggs called out his team for a lack of postseason success. Then, during minicamp, reports came out that the source of the drama in Western New York stems from Diggs’ relationship with star quarterback Josh Allen.

All of this comes after Allen turned the ball over four times in Monday night’s loss to the Jets. Whether that will play a role in further drama remains to be seen.
