The Oklahoma State Cowboys suffered a potentially massive blow on Friday with reports that star wide receiver Tylan Wallace suffered a torn ACL during practice and will miss the remainder of the season.
Wallace, one of the nation’s best receivers, entered the week with the fourth-most receiving yards (903) in the country and hauled in eight touchdowns with 53 receptions in eight games.
The junior just came off one of his best games in the past month with 131 receiving yards, including a sensational 71-yard touchdown that saw him truck two defenders.
Wallace entered the season viewed as one of the best draft-eligible receivers for the 2020 NFL Draft and his recent play only boosted his stuck further.
Now the junior potentially faces an extensive road to recovery and a difficult decision of whether to return for his senior season or take his chances in the upcoming draft.
