NFL world reacts to disastrous Patrick Mahomes first half performance

Patrick Mahomes entered Week 7 having thrown a whopping eight interceptions on the season. That came after the Kansas City Chiefs superstar threw a combined 11 interceptions over the past two seasons.

With his Chiefs at a disappointing 3-3 on the season, they are taking on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday. To say that things did not start out swimmingly for the former NFL MVP and his team would be an understatement.

Kansas City fell down 27-0 at halftime. The team was out-gained 277-68 during that span with Patrick Mahomes turning the ball over two more times within the first 30 minutes. That included an ugly interception and a lost fumble late in the second quarter which led directly to a Titans field goal.

Mahomes has now turned the ball over 11 times in less than seven full games. It’s one of the most-shocking developments of the NFL season. The game’s best quarterback looking average and mistake-prone. In the process, he’s leading one of the most-disappointing teams in the NFL.
