Star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. spent the majority of the 2022 season rehabbing from an ACL injury. Once he got healthy, the rumors of the multiple teams where Beckham might land seemed to have no end until the season came to a close.
Ultimately, though, Beckham never signed on with anyone to offer a possible playoff boost.
Instead, he’s continued to work his way back to 100 percent, and wow, does he look ready.
Sure, it’s a very brief video clip of Odell Beckham Jr. catching a football.
But is it really that simple? While we would obviously love to see more extensive footage, it’s clear Beckham has been holding himself accountable, as it appears the man has not missed a single day of hitting the gym.
However, let’s be clear. Keeping yourself in game-ready shape is one thing — and it’s respectable to be so disciplined with that — but it’s quite another to be seen effortlessly catching a football in the way a normal human would reach back and attempt to catch a tennis ball.
At 30 years old, Beckham still has plenty to offer and still garners plenty of interest. All 32 NFL teams would probably be in agreement on that front regardless of who they have on the wide receiver depth chart.

What team will Odell Beckham Jr. end up with next season?
Let’s go ahead and assume that Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens can finally work out a contract, or at the very least, learn that Jackson will remain with the team for the 2023 season.
Once that’s a known fact internally, the very next phone call general manager Eric DeCosta needs to make is to Beckham’s agent.
With a dynamic quarterback like Jackson, who will be looking to put some permanent silence to the continued doubters, a “prove it” type of contract with Odell Beckham Jr. would make for an incredible combination.

Fewer things are better than having a couple of players on your football team who take the field with massive chips on their respective shoulders. That’s exactly what the Ravens would be getting here.
Of all situations, this might be one of a select few where some money is sacrificed in favor of a great opportunity for Beckham to thrive.
