Cole, best known for coming off the bench on Miami’s 2011-12 and 2012-13, has not played a single minute in the NBA this season. His last games in the NBA were with the New Orleans Pelicans, where he averaged 14.3 points 5.0 assists per 36 minutes in 45 games last season.
Should Cole get regular minutes in Oklahoma City, it’ll be backing up Russell Westbrook, a role currently heldĀ Semaj Christon. Cole may be able to provide stability behind Westbrook. However, he has never approached the league average in PER, nor been a positive in Box Plus-Minus.
