Veterans Brendan Gallagher and Josh Anderson gave the Canadiens a 2-0 lead versus the Washington Capitals, but the team ran out of steam in the third period. The Ottawa Charge and New York Sirens again headline our PWHL power rankings — and deservedly so. After suboptimal starts to the 2025-26 season, the Sirens and Charge now occupy two of the League’s four playoff spots, buoyed by current winning streaks.
