NFL coverage map Week 6: NFL TV map, broadcast info for Sunday’s games, best games to watch

NFL coverage map Week 7

The 2023 NFL season is underway with football fans tuning in every Thursday, Sunday and Monday to watch some of their favorite teams. While NFL Sunday Ticket is gaining popularity, the NFL coverage map is a guide that all football fans need.

While every NFL game is on television, many are on at the same time. As a result, TV networks and league officials agree to have certain teams broadcasted in certain markets. The NFL TV map shows you what games are being played in your area. The NFL broadcast map changes each week and we’ll provide you with updates throughout the season.

There will be eight NFL games in the first half of Sunday’s Week 6 NFL schedule. Action begins at 9:30 AM ET with the third installment of the NFL International Series with the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Here’s the rest of the Week 6 NFL TV map for Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks vs Cincinnati Bengals – CBS – 1:00 PM ET

One of the best NFL games in Week 6 should be the Seattle Seahawks @ Cincinnati Bengals. With Joe Burrow healthier and able to navigate the pocket more easily, the pressure will be on the Seahawks’ secondary to stick with Ja’Marr Chase and potentially Tee Higgins. On the other side of the ball, a young Bengals’ secondary will be tested by DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. We’d expect 24-plus points from both teams in a matchup that could come down to the final drive.

Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars – CBS – 1:00 PM ET

The last time the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars met, Trevor Lawrence (103.8 QB rating) put on a passing clinic, while Calvin Ridley roasted the inexperienced Colts’ secondary. This time around, Indianapolis is without Anthony Richardson and its young cornerbacks have shown no signs of improvement. While Gardner Minshew keeps this from being a blowout, we’d expect four touchdowns from Jacksonville in a relatively smooth victory.

Washington Commanders vs Atlanta Falcons – CBS – 1:00 PM ET

For those wanting to see a matchup with a ton of points, this Washington Commanders vs Atlanta Falcons offense might not be for you. Atlanta has been excellent defensively this season and its pass rush should be able to record three-plus sacks on Sam Howell, with the run defense shutting down Brian Robinson Jr. We’ll also be keeping an eye on Desmond Ridder, who looked great on his game-winning drive in Week 5 and will have vulnerabilities to exploit in the Commanders’ secondary.

Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins – CBS – 1:00 PM ET

Of all the games in Week 6 that could be taken off the NFL coverage map if things get ugly, this is the one. While defense isn’t Miami’s strength, it is strong up front with an array of pass rushers who can wreck the Carolina Panthers offensive line and erase everything Frank Reich and Bryce Young attempt. Plus, with Carolina’s secondary depleted by injuries, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle should have a field day.

New England Patriots vs Las Vegas Raiders – CBS – 1:00 PM ET

We’d suggest avoiding this game if you can. While the Las Vegas Raiders are bad defensively, the New England Patriots offense is even worse. Meanwhile, a depleted Patriots’ defense likely won’t even be exploited by Jimmy Garoppolo and a porous Raiders’ offensive line nearly as much as it should. If the Patriots vs Raiders game is your only option on Sunday, go get NFL Sunday Ticket.

San Francisco 49ers vs Cleveland Browns – FOX – 1:00 PM ET

Sunday afternoon’s matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns loses some of its luster with Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb out. However, those watching strength versus strength can see San Francisco’s electric offense face off against a Browns’ defense that has allowed the fewest yards per play (3.8) in the NFL this season. We might not get a close game, but Cleveland’s defense should make it competitive early.

New Orleans Saints vs Houston Texans – FOX – 1:00 PM ET

The New Orleans Saints are coming off a much-needed dominant win over the New England Patriots, whereas the Houston Texans just lost in heartbreaking fashion. Texans’ rookie C.J. Stroud has been phenomenal this season, but this experienced Saints’ secondary will be his biggest test to date. Saints vs Texans might not be one of the best games on the schedule, but it should be a good watch for those on the NFL TV map.

Minnesota Vikings vs Chicago Bears – FOX – 1:00 PM ET

One of the highest projected NFL lines for Sunday took a hit with Justin Jefferson landing on injured reserve. With that said, these are still two of the worst defenses in the NFL squaring off against high-scoring offenses. If you’re a fan of highlight plays and a lot of fantasy points, Sunday’s Vikings vs Bears game on FOX is for you.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Jets – FOX – 4:25 PM ET

If the New York Jets had Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed in the secondary, this matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles offense becomes very intriguing. Unfortunately, New York’s starting cornerbacks are out for Sunday’s game. With backups in their place, Eagles’ receivers DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown should erupt. We’re fully expecting a two-touchdown victory from Philadelphia.

Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams – FOX – 4:25 PM ET

While Sunday’s Cardinals vs Rams game won’t draw the most eyes, it should be a fairly enjoyable viewing. When he isn’t pressured, Matthew Stafford should have a wide-open Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua on a majority of his dropbacks. We’d expect Los Angeles to win by a touchdown.

Detroit Lions vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – FOX – 4:25 PM ET

While the Detroit Lions are without running back Jahmyr Gibbs, Pro Bowl wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown returns to the field in Week 6. Detroit’s defense should have little trouble shutting down Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White. However, the Lions’ secondary vs. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin along with Detroit’s offense against Tampa Bay’s defense are the matchups to watch in this one.
