
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, who has previously collaborated a clothing line for Barney’s of New York, has now been named the campaign creative director for True Religion.
Westbrook’s new job as a denim spokesperson aligns perfectly with his NBA responsibilities during New York’s Fashion Week this year. While in town playing in the NBA All-Star game on February 15 at Barclays Center, Westbrook can conveniently visit the True Religion store on February 14, which is located across the street from Barclays. The film spot he will star in for True Religion will air during the broadcast of the All-Star Game and other venues at Madison Square Garden.
Likely to be spotted in shows at New York Fashion week, we should see Westbrook getting his moonlighting on even further promoting his All-Star Game-branded eye wear.
It kind of doesn’t suck to be Westbrook.
