The Madden 22 cover is out with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady serving as the faces of one of the most popular video games.

After teasing NFL fans for weeks about which legendary quarterbacks would grace the cover for the upcoming version of Madden NFL 22, it was finally revealed on Thursday.

Just months after the two quarterbacks faced off in Super Bowl LV, with Brady winning the Lombardi Trophy for the seventh time, the greatest player in NFL history and the future of the game will symbolize the MVP version of Madden 22.

Both have already appeared as the face of Madden. Brady was the cover player for Madden 18, when he was with the New England Patriots, and Mahomes was featured on the Madden 20 cover. It’s the first time two athletes are featured on the cover since Madden 19 displayed Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu.

Once the news officially broke, many NFL players and teams reacted with excitement on Twitter.
