Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles maintained their status as a potential playoff team Sunday, defeating the Washington Football Team in Maryland by the score of 20-16.

Hurts himself completed 17-of-26 passes for 214 yards while adding 44 yards on the ground to help Philly move to 9-7 on the campaign.

He also narrowly escaped what could have been an ugly situation leaving FedEx Field after the game. As you will see below, Jalen Hurts was almost nailed by falling fans who collapsed a railing heading into the Eagles’ locker room.

FedEx Field has not necessarily been in the news for good reasons this season. Earlier on the campaign fans were drenched with sewage after a pipe burst during a game.

As for Hurts, you can easily see that he was there to help fans who fell and made sure no one was seriously injured.
