After a 3-14 season in which the Cleveland Browns earned the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, it’s safe to say this team has a lot of needs. Now it’s up to Browns general manager Andrew Berry to address as many of them as possible before the NFL draft kicks off on April 24.

With Myles Garrett’s trade request looming, Deshaun Watson’s re-torn Achilles, and the need for more help on both sides of the ball, the Browns’ options in the NFL Draft are endless.

Should they select an edge rusher like Abdul Carter to replace Garrett? A two-way superstar like Travis Hunter who can fill needs on both sides of the ball? Or a quarterback that offers long-term hope while they find a way to move on from Wason?

While the Cleveland Browns have a number of options ahead this offseason, there’s one area that the team is expected to prioritize with the second overall pick.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he’s “confident” the Browns “have to” select a QB with the second overall pick in April’s NFL Draft.

“Because they have to, because logic dictates that, because common sense dictates that.”

If the Browns have to draft a QB with the second overall pick, that could force them into taking University of Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders since Cam Ward is a frequent choice to go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans.
