NFL world reacts to Cincinnati Bengals moving to 3-1 after comeback win

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals found themselves down 14-0 at halftime against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars at home Thursday night.

That’s when something clicked for the former No. 1 pick and his team. Cincinnati would go on to score 24 points in the second half, including the game-winning field goal as time expired.

After some big-time struggles in the first two quarters, Burrow picked it after intermission. The talented young signal caller completed 25-of-32 passes for 348 yards with two touchdowns against zero interceptions. He connected with stud rookie first-round pick Ja’Marr Chase six times for 77 yards, including this huge completion in the third quarter.

These are not the same old Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow, Chase and other elite-level skill position players have this offense on the brink of greatness. It’s somewhat of a stunner for a head coach in Zac Taylor who entered the season having posted a 6-25-1 record.

We can’t 100% conclude that the Bengals are legitimate playoff contenders. But things are certainly trending up in Ohio.
