Alabama QB Bryce Young signing with CAA for NIL marketing opportunities

NCAA Football: Alabama - A-Day

Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young will look to help the team repeat as national champions this coming fall and winter following the departure of Mac Jones to the NFL.

Young might do so a bit richer in the pocket book.

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports, Bryce Young has signed on with CAA to help him with NIL marketing opportunities moving forward.

It was just earlier this week that the NCAA announced student-athletes can benefit financially from their name, image and likeness (NIL) in an historic move to provide said athletes with the benefits they deserve.

Bryce Young joins another big-name college football quarterback in Spencer Rattler from Oklahoma in signing on with an agency. Rattler agreed to terms with Steinberg Sports, and will donate some of his earnings to communities in need.

As for the agency Young signed on with, Create Arts Agency (CAA) represents some of the NFL’s biggest names of the past. This includes the likes of former star quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Tony Romo.

A five-star recruit of the Crimson Tide back in 2020, Bryce Young was the No. 2 overall player in the nation that year. He threw just 22 passes as a freshman this past season, but is expected to be among the best college quarterbacks in the country.
