Adrian Peterson runs the ball against the New York Giants
Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

Washington Redskins star running back and future Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson is doing his part to help those most impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic plaguing the United States.

Peterson announced on Saturday a $100,000 donation to students and senior citizens through his Adrian and Ashley Peterson Family Foundation.

We have seen professional athletes and teams go out of their way to help those in need during these most difficult of times. Peterson is the latest to step up.

Specifically, Peterson is helping the Houston chapter of Meals on Wheels provide food to children and senior citizens.

I could not envision a better way to help during the coronavirus breakout. Great stuff from AD here.
