In the latest off-field drama for Antonio Brown, Florida police officers arrested his trainer on Tuesday as they continue to investigate allegations of battery at Brown’s Florida home.
Brown’s trainer, Glen Holt, was arrested by officers and charged with one count of burglary with battery on Tuesday night, per ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe. Police attempted to make contact with Brown, who is a suspect, but were unable to make contact with him.
According to police, a driver of a moving truck alleges that Brown and Holt “battered” him. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and law enforcement expect to have an update on Brown’s status Wednesday.
Reports first emerged on Tuesday afternoon of a massive police presence at Brown’s home in Hollywood, Florida. The incident came just a week after the former All-Pro receiver verbally abused officers outside of his home.
Trouble continues to find the receiver who was released by the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots in 2019. Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, terminated his relationship with Brown on Jan. 16 and encouraged Brown to get help for his issues.
