The Auburn Tigers came into Saturday knowing they would need to get creative offensively to beat the No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies. That plan seems to be working after wide receiver Anthony Schwartz torched the Aggies on a reverse for a 57-yard touchdown.
Auburn quarterback Bo Nix handed the ball off to running back JaTarvious Whitlow. As Whitlow started to run off the right and the defense followed, he flipped it back to Schwartz on the reverse and the sophomore took it to the house with his blazing speed.
This is what can make Auburn’s offense so dangerous when it can execute. There are so many playmakers with game-changing speed for Gus Malzahn’s scheme and he finds unique ways to get them in space.
If the Tigers want to pull off the road win in College Station and keep their undefeated season alive, this is the trickery and big plays they will need.
