Raiders make Rodney Hudson highest-paid center in NFL, per report

Las Vegas Raiders release Rodney Hudson

The Oakland Raiders have reportedly signed center Rodney Hudson to a three-year, $33.75 million extension that makes him the highest-paid player in the NFL at his position.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network shared this breaking news Friday, noting Hudson will get $24.4 million in guarantees.

Originally a second-round pick out of Florida State by the Kansas City Chiefs, Hudson played four years for the team that drafted him before signing a free-agency deal with Oakland ahead of the 2015 season.

Hudson has started 92 games at center since the start of the 2013 season — his first season as a full-time starter in the NFL — and has not missed a single start for Oakland the past three years.
