The Los Angeles Lakers might have missed out on the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes, but they have added another former All-Star.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Los Angeles has signed veteran center DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year contract.
It’s not yet known what type of Contract cousins received. But we do know that the market was bare for his services.
Cousins spent last season with the Golden State Warriors after suffering a torn Achilles as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans the season before. Prior to that injury, he was looking at a max deal.
The 28-year-old Cousins joins Anthony Davis and LeBron James in Los Angeles after averaging 16.3 points and 8.2 assists in Oakland last season.
