The Philadelphia Eagles teased it, and then the reports flooded in that Carson Wentz has agreed to a four-year extension through the 2024 season.

Philadelphia sent out a tweet poking fun at the “negotiations” behind the scenes.

Then they announced the deal.

In no way is this a surprise. The Eagles have been saying it would happen, and it was only a matter of working out the details.

Wentz has been spectacular for Philly when healthy, passing for 10,152 yards with 70 touchdowns an 28 interceptions the past three seasons.
