Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols joined an elite group of power hitters during Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
In the fifth inning, Pujols stepped to the plate and launched a two-run blast.
It was Pujols’ 12th of the season and 200th as a member of the Angels. Pujols also hit 445 homers with the St. Louis Cardinals.
He’s one of only six men to hit 200 or more home runs with two different teams. The other names on the list are pretty recognizable.
We’d say that Pujols is keeping some pretty good company.
