There’s not another player in NBA history that can get as hot as Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson. Here’s a dude that once dropped 37 points in a quarter against Sacramento years back.
Without LeBron James in the mix Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers found out first-hand just how hot Klay can get.

Thompson hit his first 10 threes of the game, including seven within the first seven minutes of the third quarter. All said, the All-Star started Monday’s game connecting on 17-of-19 shots for 44 points in just 26 minutes of action.
This is a continuation of a hot run for a Warriors team that headed into Staples Center having won seven consecutive games.
With Thompson absolutely burying everything in sight, there’s no reason to believe that this will change to.
By the way, Golden State opened up a 100-68 lead midway through the third quarter. Insert flame emoji here.
