The Denver Broncos suffered a potentially devastating blow in their bid for a playoff spot.
According to multiple media reports, Denver believes that Pro Bowl wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered a torn Achilles during practice on Wednesday.

It was previously noted that Sanders went down with a non-contact injury. That’s usually not a good sign.
If Sanders is indeed lost for the season, it’s a major blow for a Broncos team that’s won three consecutive games to announce its presence in the AFC Playoff race.
Sanders, 31, has caught 71 passes for 868 yards and four touchdowns this season. With him sidelined, rookie Courtland Sutton will emerge as Case Keenum’s favorite target in the passing game.
