The Alabama Crimson Tide have playmakers all over the roster, even on special teams. Freshman Jaylen Waddle showed just that on an explosive 63-yard punt return touchdown on Saturday.

As the Crimson Tide led 14-0 and ready for another offensive drive, Waddle took the punt and immediately slipped out of a tackle then took off to the edge of the field and took it to the end zone for a score.

Waddle benefited from some nice blocks, including a crushing blindside hit at the 39-yard line that sent the defender flying. The freshman made a cut back towards the middle of the field at the 20-yard line then ran untouched for the score.

A four-star wide receiver in the 2018 recruiting class, Waddle is already demonstrating his ability to make big plays and slip out of tackles in the open field.
