Nathaniel Prescott, the father of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession on Saturday in Orange County, Texas.

Eliopoulos noted that Prescott was stopped on Highway 87 in Orange County, that troopers discovered marijuana and that Prescott posted $500 bond and was released from jail.
According to NORML, a class B misdemeanor for marijuana possession in Texas is defined as, “Possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana,” which is punishable by up to 180 days imprisonment and a fine not to exceed $2,000.
