Having not worked out too swimmingly during his five-year stint with the Phoenix Suns, 25-year-old center Alex Len is moving on to the Atlanta Hawks.
According to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, the two sides are finalizing a free agent contract.

Charania went on to report that the deal is worth $8.5 million over two seasons. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Len averaged 8.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in 69 games (13 starts) last season. It was the most consistent performance of his career.
Len will now challenge Dewayne Dedmon and Miles Plumlee for minutes this coming season for a Hawks squad that’s in the midst of a long-term rebuild. Still only 25, he offers considerable upside.
