Clinging to a one-game lead in the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars head into Week 15 with star running back Leonard Fournette ailing. He’s suffering from a quad injury that kept him out of practice on Friday, marking the third straight day he’s missed, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette missed his third straight day of practice today due to his quad injury. No practice all week.

Fournette dealt with lower body injuries during his tenure at LSU and has already dealt with an ankle injury earlier this season in Jacksonville. He has missed two games this year due to injury.
In 11 games, Fournette has certainly had a positive impact for the Jaguars as a rookie. He’s already rushed for 923 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging four yards per carry, and has put a couple games away late (like this).
The Jaguars are hosting the Houston Texans Sunday. If Fournette isn’t ready to play, they shouldn’t hesitate to sit him for another week to get him ready for the playoffs. Houston’s defense is a sieve, and Jacksonville has proved it can win without Fournette already.
