Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost is currently resting in a hospital with a broken pelvis. According to Rustin Dodd of The Kansas Star, he sustained the injury “while working on his property.”

For a sense of what kind of recovery he’s looking at, the winter meetings are scheduled to begin on December 10.
All things considered, it could be worse for Yost. A broken pelvis is never anything to sneeze at, especially for a 62-year-old man. But he should be back in the mix in no time.
