When the Arizona State Sun Devils take on the Colorado Buffaloes on Nov. 4 this year, they’ll be wearing incredible alternate “Brotherhood” uniforms. These uniforms, created by Adidas, will honor the late, great Pat Tillman, active military and veterans, with the helmet bearing the name of ASU veterans.

Tillman went to school at Arizona State and played for the Arizona Cardinals before enlisting in the United States Army following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He was tragically killed in action while performing his duties as an Army Ranger while doing a tour in Afghanistan in 2004. He was posthumously awarded the Silver Star, Purple Heart and Meritorious Service Medal.
Arizona State unveiled a statue to honor Pat Tillman this past summer, which is visible to fans arriving at Sun Devil Stadium.
