An errant pitch from Toronto Blue Jays reliever Aaron Loup struck Freeman’s wrist in the fifth inning of Wednesday’s game.
While his team had been disappointing, Freeman was in the midst of a stellar season. He’s slashing a .341/.461/.748 with 14 home runs.
