As a team, the New England Patriots are hoping to beat the Miami Dolphins for the AFC’s No. 1 seed. It’s already been a good day for quarterback Tom Brady, too.
Brady passed Dolphins’ legend Dan Marino for fourth on the NFL’s career passing yardage list.

It’s fitting that he did so in Miami, where Marino was dominant for so long.
The only quarterbacks with more yards than Brady are Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees. Given that Brees is an active player and Brady is more than 10,000 yards behind Manning and Favre, it will be a while before Brady passes another legend on the list.
