WWE Clash in Paris also features the latest stop on John Cena’s retirement tour as he takes on Logan Paul, and living legend Roman Reigns is back in the ring to face Bronson Reed. Below you will find all the results from each bout, highlights, and match grades as they take place in Paris.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed Results
As expected, Reigns vs. Reed was a physical and power move-heavy matchup. It was not a burnburner by any means, but when Reigns can tell a story, he is at his best. Which was what happened afterwards. He got the “shoe-lafala” back after a hard-fought victory and choked out former wiseman Paul Heyman. However, he got hit with a pair of nasty spears from Bron Breakker post-match to set up a future clash between the two, as well as a tsunami from Reed. It was likely done to write him off so he could do filming for Street Fighter.
- Winner: Roman Reigns
- Match Grade: B-
Wyatt Sicks vs. Street Profits Results
The Street Profits versus the Wyatt Sicks was a solid tag match. There were some clunky moments, but overall, they delivered an okay match. The standout moments from the bout were what are likely early breadcrumbs of a Profits breakup as the pair clashed at times during the match. In the end, the Wyatt — via outside interference from the other members got the W.
- Winner: Wyatt Sicks
- Match Grade: C
Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch Results
While Becky Lynch is still in her prime, she has never been a high-level athlete. But she can elevate her game to elite talent. At 41, Nikki Bella’s athletic prime is behind her, but the pair still put on a solid match. As most expected, the defending IC champ retained her belt at WWE Clash in Paris.
- Winner: Becky Lynch
- Match Grade: C
Sheamus vs. Rusev Results
Is Sheamus ever in a bad match at this point in his career? At WWE Clash in Paris, the “Celtic Warrior” was again in another “banger.” This time in a good ole’ fashioned donnybrook match against Rusev. The bout was hard-hitting and had several great spots, including a white noise off stacked beer barrels into a pair of tables.
- Winner: Rusev
- Match Grade: B+
John Cena vs. Logan Paul Results
It is pretty impressive how Paul shines in big matchups. None was bigger than on Sunday when facing Cena. And he helped deliver a damn fine match. But Cena deserves equal credit for being this entertaining and strong at this point in his career.
- Winner: John Cena
- Match Grade: B+
Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight Results
The main event of WWE Clash in Paris was a rock-solid affair that featured some fun moments from the various talent involved. Going into the match, the assumption was that Rollins’ The Vision members would get involved. However, the crew was barred from ring side. So instead, the person who came to the champ’s aid was none other than his wife, Becky Lynch. Setting up some wild storytelling in the months ahead. Could an AJ Lee return now be on the horizon?
- Winner: Seth Rollins
- Match Grade: B
