WWE main event talent Seth Rollins and Jacob Fatu are headed to the sidelines with serious injuries. A pair of new reports has offered some new insight into how long the pair could be away from WWE Raw and SmackDown.

This has been a tough last week when it comes to WWE’s roster. Last weekend, World Heavyweight champ Seth Rollins took part in a great Crown Jewel main event against WWE champ Cody Rhodes. Unfortunately, the wrestling great suffered a major shoulder injury that reportedly could keep him out all the way into next year.

As for Jacob Fatu, reports emerged this week that he had a non-wrestling-related injury that could also keep him out for an extended period of time. Following this week’s edition of SmackDown, where he was written out of a No. 1 contenders match, it was revealed that the mystery issue was having serious dental work done. Well, some new updates have emerged from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer on how long each man could be out of action.

First, Rollins. Rumors suggested that he could be out for months, and there was a real chance he could miss WrestleMania 42 in April. Meltzer claims he will “100%” have surgery and will be out for months. But the company does hope he will be back for the ‘Mania 42, but they won’t know for sure until after the procedure.

When it comes to Fatu’s return timeline, the news is a bit more positive from Meltzer. He confirmed reports this week that a dental procedure is indeed the reason he was written off TV on Friday. And that it will keep him out of the ring “for a while.”

Meltzer speculated that he will probably miss November’s Survivor Series card in San Diego. But he does believe, based on the information he has gotten, that the former United States champion should be back on SmackDown before 2025 comes to a close.
