WATCH: Cody Bellinger’s walk-off HR in 9th lifts Los Angeles Dodgers past Chicago Cubs

Cody Bellinger hit a walk-off solo home run in the ninth inning to lift the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-2 win against the visiting Chicago Cubs in the third game of their four-game series on Saturday afternoon.

Bellinger hit a 3-1 pitch over the fence in center with two outs in the ninth off Chicago reliever Keegan Thompson (3-2) to give the Dodgers their second straight win in the series.

Dodgers starter Julio Urias struck out a career-high 12 batters in 5 1/3 innings. The left-hander allowed two runs, five hits and walked one, but for the third straight outing could not secure his 10th victory of the season.

Joe Kelly, Garrett Cleavinger, Phil Bickford and David Price (3-0) blanked the Cubs over the final 3 2/3 innings.

Cubs right-hander Alec Mills allowed two runs and eight hits in four innings, striking out two and walking two.

Anthony Rizzo homered and Jason Heyward had three hits and a run scored for the Cubs.

Mookie Betts doubled just out of the reach of diving left fielder Kris Bryant to start the first inning for the Dodgers. Max Muncy then doubled off the center-field wall to drive in Betts for a 1-0 lead. Justin Turner followed with a single to shallow right to score Muncy and make it 2-0.

Rizzo homered on the first pitch of the fourth inning to cut the lead to 2-1.

Urias struck out nine through four innings, but gave up a leadoff double to Heyward to start the fifth and another opposite-field double by pinch hitter Ian Happ with one out to tie the score 2-2.

The Cubs put their first two runners on base in the third, but Urias struck out the next two before getting Kris Bryant to fly out to end the threat.

Heyward hit what was initially ruled a go-ahead home run to lead off the seventh, but a review showed the ball had drifted outside the left-field foul pole. Heyward then singled, but was erased on a double play.
