The New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs had a matchup for the ages on Friday night that went to overtime. Jalen Brunson set a new career-high with 61 points. Victor Wembanyama set a new career-high with 40 points.

Brunson may have scored more, but Wemby’s Spurs got the last laugh in the 130-126 win over the Knicks. Social media couldn’t get enough of the high-scoring matchup with Brunson and ‘The Extraterrestrial’ at their very best.

Brunson came just two points away from breaking Carmelo Anthony’s Knicks franchise record with 62 points. He’s also the first player to take 46 or more shots since Kobe Bryant‘s final game when he took 50 shots in 2016.
