Tyreek Hill met with NFL investigators for the first time on Wednesday regarding a recently closed child abuse case involving his three-year-old son.

According to NFL.com, Hill met with Lisa Friel, the NFL’s senior VP of Special Counsel for Investigations, and other league officials. He was represented by the NFLPA and his own personal lawyer.

Pro Football talk reports the meeting lasted eight hours.

Hill has not been charged with any crime. However, the NFL could still potentially issue disciplinary measures if it deems Hill has violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

To that end, investigators reportedly asked him about the allegations, along with questions regarding the audiotape recordings that were released by a local television station, in which he threatened his fiance. Furthermore, the league was expected to ask Hill about using a belt to discipline his son, per the NFL.com report.

Ian Rapoport noted that the NFL has no timetable for a decision on any potential discipline, per the report.

After being banned from all Kansas City Chiefs offseason activities following the release of the audiotape, Hill is now expected to attend Chiefs training camp next month, barring any unforeseen developments.
