Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill expected back for training camp

News on Friday indicating that there’s no longer an active investigation surrounding child abuse claims against Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was somewhat surprising.

In what has been a drawn-out saga surrounding the All-Pro pass catcher, Hills fiancee claims that he had abused his child. This came on the heels of the two having said young boy taken away from them on a temporary basis by authorities in Kansas.

Now comes this report from NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero indicating that Hill is now expected to be back with the Chiefs for training camp starting late next month.

While Friday’s news does not exonerate Hill or his fiancee, it does come after a rather interesting note one day early indicating that authorities were investigating that she is dealing with a seldom-known affliction that could impact the case.

It’s also important to note that no matter what happens in the court of law, the NFL abides by its own tenets. That could lead to disciplinary action against Hill.

But for now, he’s expected to be back with the Chiefs for training camp.
