Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley is looking to join other youngsters in making a name for himself during the NFL Playoffs.

Huntley started Sunday’s AFC Wild Card Playoff game against the defending conference champion Cincinnati Bengals in favor of the injured Lamar Jackson.

In what has to be considered stunning fashion, Baltimore kept this one close. Down 17-10 late in the third quarter, Huntley led the Ravens on an 81-yard game-tying touchdown drive. It culminated in a 41-yard scoring strike to veteran wide receiver Demarcus Robinson.

First off, Robinson treated Eli Apple like burnt toast. Talk about an epic route from the veteran pass-catcher on this one. Secondly, Tyler Huntley hit him in stride as Baltimore tied it up at 17 late in the third quarter.

To say that this is surprising would be an understatement. Last week against these very same Bengals, Ravens wide receivers hauled in just five passes. Though, that was with rookie Anthony Brown tossing him the rock.

Before three quarters were even up on Sunday wild card matchup, Tyler Huntley had completed 12-of-16 passes for 154 yards with two touchdowns. If he is able to lead Baltimore to an upset win over Cincinnati, the former Utah star will certainly make a name for himself.
