Tom Brady’s playing football again, with Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, on a beach

The world may not be ready to move on from Tom Brady‘s football career just yet. In fact, even the seven-time Super Bowl champion himself isn’t ready to retire his golden arm either. While there’s still no official talk about him returning to the NFL gridiron any time soon, Brady was recently seen firing a few lasers to some former teammates.

Only, this wasn’t in the typical manner we’ve seen from Brady during his Hall of Fame football career. Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate seeing Brady get the old gang back together, with former teammates Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, who seemingly would follow TB12 anywhere he goes.

In this case, they gathered at the beach to toss around the pigskin, and there’s even some footage available for those of us who aren’t ready to close the book on Brady’s playing career.

Naturally, this will surely cause a frenzy among some fanbases, hoping Brady recruits his old pals to their team in 2023. Brady, at the age of 45, seems to be living the good life, but that may not include a return to the NFL.

For what it’s worth, Gronkowski and Edelman have both hinted at the idea of coming out of retirement as well, but like Brady, it seems the book on their careers has been closed. For Edelman, who’s 36, perhaps that’s best. Meanwhile, Gronk is still only 33 and could feasibly still have a few more seasons left playing tight end if he had the desire.

Yet, maybe they prefer to continue their beach football games instead. At least this way they still get to catch passes from Brady.
