The rumor mill is churning out some tremendous fodder as it concerns Tony Romo these days. A guy who was reportedly going to be released, per everyone, Romo is now reportedly expected to be traded to either the Denver Broncos or Houston Texans, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Apparently, in the process, the Broncos are talking to the New York Jets about moving Trevor Siemian.

Interestingly, this report comes just hours after it was reported by another reputable source that the Broncos were “lukewarm” about bringing in Romo this year (more on that here).
That rumors are flying around like hotcakes at your local diner isn’t surprising. It is silly season in the NFL, after all. However, it is rather shocking that, all of a sudden, there is reportedly some serious momentum developing for a trade to land Romo, who was supposed to be hitting the open market.
Stay tuned, folks. It’s going to be a fascinating story to follow until Romo actually lands somewhere else or is actually released by the Dallas Cowboys.
