The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy adding more skill-position talent for quarterback Jalen Hurts. At the opening of the NFL free agent tampering period, Philadelphia signed star running back Saquon Barkley away from the division-rival New York Giants. It was absolutely a splash move for general manager Howie Roseman and Co.

The Eagles are not done there.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Philadelphia has signed wide receiver DeVante Parker away from the New England Patriots. The deal comes in at $4.69 million fully guaranteed over one season.

Of that, Philadelphia has to pay a mere $1.2 million after the 31-year-old Parker was released by the New England Patriots.

A first-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 2015 NFL Draft, Parker caught 33 passes for 394 yards for the Patriots a season ago.

His best performance came with Miami back in 2019 with the Louisville product catching 72 passes for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns.

Parker now joins an Eagles wide receiver room that includes DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. Look for him to take over as WR3 in Philadelphia.
