It feels like this Friday could be a boom or bust for the New Jersey Devils. The Devils are in an awkward situation where they know the roster—or at least the core—massively underachieved this year. If we’re being frank, they should have been in the playoffs. So, what do they do? Are they in the sellers market? Or are they adjusting on the fly ahead of what should be a transformative summer. Perhaps, they do nothing at all.
It all depends on who is running the roster, and there’s no reason to believe it’s not Tom Fitzgerald. We shall see.
