While Tom Brady only played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two seasons, he forever impact the franchise, coaches and his teammates. As the future Hall of Famer heads into retirement, the organization did right by him in a fitting manner.

Tampa Bay knew this day was coming. Teammates started bracing for Brady’s retirement weeks ago and the organization reportedly sensed that Brady would call it quits after the 2021 season. Because they wanted to honor his wishes, the Buccaneers denied reports of his retirement on Saturday.

Now it’s official. The seven-time Super Bowl champion announced Tuesday on Instagram that he is walking away from the NFL. As he heads into the sunset, the Buccaneers honored him with a wonderful tribute video.

Brady chose the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over multiple suitors in the 2020 offseason, confident he could do something special with the franchise. Not only did he instantly snap their 12-year playoff drought, he helped them win their first Super Bowl since 20002.
