Head coach Todd Bowles and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to visit the Detroit Lions in the NFL Divisional Playoffs on Sunday.
The good news for Tampa Bay is that the game is being played inside in Ford Field. Just don’t tell that to a reporter that was on hand during Bowles’ press conference on Tuesday.
He was legitimately asked how the weather conditions in the Motor City will impact game preparation. Bowles’ reaction was absolutely glorious. Check it out.
It’s going to be a low of 15 degrees on Sunday. That’s frigid. As Bowles’ noted, it’s only going to impact the Buccaneers as they make their way off the bus and head into the stadium.
The last time Detroit played at an outdoor venue was all the way back in 1974 at the old Tiger Stadium, the former home of MLB’s Detroit Tigers.
As funny as Bowles’ reaction might have been, those on social media added another layer to the hilarity.

Let this be a lesson to all of the young journalist students out there. Never go to a press conference unprepred. It will make you a laughingstock.
Though, we have to give Todd Bowles credit for how he handled it. A true professional.
