After giving Lamar Jackson a record-breaking contract extension, one league insider believes the Baltimore Ravens could soon target another veteran star receiver to give their franchise quarterback more weapons in 2023.

Thursday was already a big day for the Baltimore Ravens with the franchise set to make the 22nd overall selection in the NFL Draft. However, it got even better when it was revealed that after nearly a year of negotiations and drama, they finally came to terms on a long-term deal with superstar signal-caller Lamar Jackson.

The news brought one of the biggest storylines of the offseason to a conclusion. Now, the focus can switch back to improving the roster for next season and getting Jackson the weapons he desperately needs on offense.

That process already began last week when the Baltimore Ravens signed one of the top receivers in NFL free agency, Odell Beckham Jr. The organization surprisingly gave the three-time Pro Bowler a $15 million dollar deal. A number far above what many expected him to get this offseason. However, they may not be done yet acquiring multi-time Pro Bowlers.

On Thursday, CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones claimed that with the NFL Draft starting tonight, and the strong chance of trades occurring, that Baltimore Ravens fans should look out for the possibility of the team making a push for Arizona Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

The team now has some more available cap space following the Lamar Jackson deal, and the five-time Pro Bowler has been on the trade block for several weeks. A combo of Beckham Jr. and Hopkins has injury concerns, but if healthy would be by far the best one-two pass-catcher options the QB has ever had.
