Teams are jockeying for draft positions and playoff spots with all 32 teams having just four games left to play. With most of the season already decided, it’s time to evaluate each team’s performance. Some teams have earned an A+, while others are flunking their way to an F. How does your team’s NFL report card look before Week 15?

Arizona Cardinals: F

Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

Five consecutive losses is about as bad as it gets, or at least we hope. The Cardinals’ latest loss was by a whopping 28 points, making it easily their biggest loss of the season. With a 15-32 record across three seasons, we can’t help but wonder how much longer coach Jonathan Gannon will be in Arizona.

Atlanta Falcons: F

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Kirk Cousins isn’t doing himself any favors if he wants to become a starting quarterback again. The same could be said for coach Raheem Morris in his second stint as an NFL head coach. After all, he’s led the Falcons to a 16-25 record across three seasons, placing his 39% win rate just barely ahead of his 35.4% mark when he was the coach of the Buccaneers.

Baltimore Ravens: C-

The Ravens returned to dominating with their rushing attack on Sunday, topping 200 yards for just the second time all season. Yet, for the second time this year, it didn’t lead to a win. This last loss was particularly hurtful in that it catapulted the Steelers into first place of the AFC North, giving the Ravens a taller mountain to climb as the season winds down.

Buffalo Bills: B+

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers
Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images

The Bills could have easily folded against Joe Burrow’s high-powered Bengals offense, especially playing in the snow. But they didn’t. We instead saw Josh Allen put forth his best rushing performance of the season, leading to Buffalo’s sixth game with over 400 yards of offense. With just two more potential playoff opponents on the schedule, it looks like the Bills are returning to the postseason for the seventh year in a row under coach Sean McDermott.

Carolina Panthers: A+

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons
Brett Davis-Imagn Images

The Panthers were able to celebrate their biggest win of the season by enjoying a bye week. While their playoff hopes are still alive, at 7-6, their odds are pretty slim. Though with matchups against the Saints, Bucs twice, and the Seahawks, the Panthers still have a fighting chance, especially if Bryce Young can continue his stellar play.

Chicago Bears: A

NFL: Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles
Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

The Bears lost their first-place lead of the NFC North with a loss to the Packers, but they’re still in prime position to make the playoffs in Ben Johnson’s first season as head coach. While Chicago has a top-ten scoring offense, it’s not because of Caleb Williams. It’s because they have the NFL’s second-most rushing yards and a defense that isn’t losing them games.

Cincinnati Bengals: D-

Mitch Stringer-Imagn Images

While it’s not official, the Bengals’ season is practically over after falling to 4-9. They’d have to win out to even have a chance, which is always possible with Joe Burrow leading the way. But we’re more concerned about a defense that ranks dead-last in points allowed. For that, and not having a better backup QB plan in place, the Bengals nearly get an F, but Burrow’s improved play keeps them above the line for now.

Cleveland Browns: F

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Ken Blaze-Imagn Images

Two-time NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski deserves an F for taking Shedeur Sanders off the field for a potentially game-tying play. After all, the Browns’ QB was in a rhythm, leading the Browns to their second-highest point output of the season. Still, we like to see the progress from a fifth-round rookie who’s starting to look like he has a long-term future in Cleveland.

Dallas Cowboys: C

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions
Lon Horwedel-Imagn Images

Rattling off three wins in a row provided hope, but the Cowboys lost all momentum with a loss to the Lions on Thursday. A defense that got a pair of trade deadline upgrades allowed 44 points, tied for their season-high. They also allowed over 400 yards for the fifth time this season. We can’t imagine the Cowboys making the playoffs now. Would Micah Parsons have made a difference? I guess we’ll never know.

Denver Broncos: A+

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos
Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images

They may not have the league’s most exciting style of play, but the Broncos have won ten games in a row. Not only do they have good coaching, but this defense has also allowed fewer than 20 points in four of their past five games. With Bo Nix largely playing mistake-free football, the Broncos look like a team that can go all the way.

Detroit Lions: B-

The Lions were in desperate need of a win this week, but they got one against a worthy opponent in the Cowboys. The only problem is, now the Lions are in third place of the NFC North. Yet, with the NFL’s highest-scoring offense, Detroit may not stay in third place for long. But they face a tough stretch ahead.

Green Bay Packers: A+

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Barry Reeger-Imagn Images

Winners of four in a row, the Packers are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. Sunday’s win over Chicago was a big one, but Green Bay can’t relax now, as they now have to face Denver and then Chicago again. Still, the Packers have to be happy with how their top-ten offense and defense have performed thus far.

Houston Texans: B+

Steve Roberts-Imagn Images

After a 0-3 start, the Texans looked like they wouldn’t be in position to play in the postseason this year. Yet, a sharp turnaround, which now includes five wins in a row, has put them back in the conversation. Boasting the NFL’s best defense, Houston can compete with anyone, and now it looks like they’ll be back in the playoffs again.

Indianapolis Colts: B-

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Register-Imagn Images

Three consecutive losses and a season-ending injury to Daniel Jones have effectively wrecked the Colts’ season. Once looking like a lock to be in the postseason after a 7-1 start, we no longer see a path to the playoffs in Indianapolis. Not when they don’t even know who their QB will be this week, let alone for the rest of the season. Making matters worse, now the Colts won’t have their starting QB to start the season in 2026, and they won’t have first-round picks for the next two years either. A rapidly ascending franchise that once had hopes of playing in a Super Bowl now looks like one that will be back at the bottom of the barrel again next year.

Jacksonville Jaguars: A

They don’t get much respect from the national media, but the Jaguars are quietly an excellent team, boasting the NFL’s ninth-highest scoring offense and a defense allowing the tenth-fewest points. Sitting comfortably in first place of the AFC South, Liam Coen is looking like a home run hire in his first season as head coach.

Kansas City Chiefs: D

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs
Denny Medley-Imagn Images

It’s odd. The Chiefs are respectable on both sides of the ball, ranking 11th in scoring offense and 7th in fewest points allowed. Yet, they enter Week 15 with a sub-.500 record and very slim playoff hopes. Losing four of their past five games surely hasn’t helped. Patrick Mahomes has never lost this much in the NFL; he’s never even missed the playoffs. Seeing how they respond over the final stretch will be fun to watch.

Las Vegas Raiders: F

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images

Tied for the NFL lead in interceptions and sacks taken, Geno Smith’s performance is not what the Raiders were hoping for when they traded a third-round pick for him this offseason. It didn’t help that they doubled down and handed him $75 million, either. But he’s not the only problem for a team that’s dead-last in rushing yards per attempt while ranking 24th in points allowed.

Los Angeles Chargers: B+

The Chargers have battled a ton of adversity this season, with several key players suffering serious injuries. Yet, here they are, sitting pretty at 9-4 despite an ailing Justin Herbert. They won’t catch the Broncos, but the Chargers should be proud about how resilient they’ve been all season long. They’ll be better for it in the long run.

Los Angeles Rams: A+

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

A week following an unexpected loss to the Panthers, the Rams bounced back in a big way by dominating the Cardinals 45-17. Los Angeles went off for a season-high 530 yards, which included 249 on the ground. We don’t imagine they can do this every week, but it showed the potential for both parts of their offense to be equally dominant.

Miami Dolphins: C-

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Atlanta Falcons
Dale Zanine-Imagn Images

An incredibly late-season rally that’s seen Miami win its past four games now has the Dolphins at 6-7. That’s a remarkable record, given that they started 1-6. We don’t imagine there’s a chance of Miami sneaking into the playoffs, but we give them a ton of credit for not giving up when most others would have.

Minnesota Vikings: F

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

Surprisingly, Kevin O’Connell’s team has more interceptions than any other team, but they’ve also started three different quarterbacks, including two making their NFL debuts. The bright side is that J.J. McCarthy’s coming off his best start yet. Plus, Brian Flores’ defense is back to creating confusing looks that make Pro Bowl quarterbacks look like rookies. Unfortunately, it’s too late for a team that’s lost six of its past eight games.

New England Patriots: A+

NFL: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots
Bob DeChiara-Imagn Images

What a difference a boatload of spending plus hiring Mike Vrabel can make. The Patriots went from a team that looked like it could take a few years before becoming contenders to one that looks like they can legitimately compete for a Super Bowl right away. With a top-ten offense, defense and strong coaching leadership, what’s not to like?

New Orleans Saints: D

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Obviously, a 3-10 record isn’t worth celebrating, but most expected the Saints to be the NFL’s team. What’s been encouraging is that Kellen Moore’s team has won two of its past four games, with Tyler Shough showing strong signs of growth. After shockingly beating the Panthers in Week 10, can the Saints do it again on Sunday?

New York Giants: F

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

In line to land the No. 1 overall pick, there’s no other way to grade the Giants than to give them an F. Yet, after losing Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo to season-ending injuries, this is the best outcome for the Giants, plus they finally got rid of Brian Daboll. Now if only they’d wipe the slate clean by moving on from Joe Schoen too.

New York Jets: D-

NFL: New York Jets at New England Patriots
David Butler II-Imagn Images

With a bottom-ten offense and defense, there’s no point in sugarcoating it. This Jets team is bad. But they haven’t given up on first-year coach Aaron Glenn, winning three of their past six games. It doesn’t help that their QB room is a mess, recently being forced to play undrafted rookie Brady Cook for the bulk of the game. The Jets need to just aim for the best draft position possible, knowing they’ll need it to draft or trade for their next QB.

Philadelphia Eagles: B-

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Chargers
Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

The Eagles sure don’t look like a repeat Super Bowl contender, not with the way this offense is playing. They’ve now lost three games in a row but still have a fairly commanding lead in the NFC East. Still, the Eagles need to get out of this funk before the playoffs arrive, or things could get really ugly.

Pittsburgh Steelers: B-

Syndication: Beaver County Times
Michael Longo / For USA Today Network / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The sky is no longer falling in Pittsburgh, at least not this week. The week started with rumors of the Steelers potentially moving on from Mike Tomlin, only to end it by securing sole possession of first place in the AFC North. What a world we live in. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock and put in an MVP-like performance. It was only one week, but Pittsburgh’s potential shone bright.

San Francisco 49ers: B+

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans
Sean Thomas-Imagn Images

Amazingly, the 49ers are 9-4, but they’re only in third place of a crowded NFC West. Perhaps more impressive is the fact that they’ve had to rely on their backup QB to make eight starts, and they’re still in position to make the playoffs. We’ve given up on San Francisco’s rushing offense, but there’s enough talent on both sides of the ball to do some damage if they can sneak into the playoffs.

Seattle Seahawks: A+

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders
Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

Boasting the NFL’s second-highest scoring offense and a defense ranked second in points allowed, the Seahawks are one of the best on both sides of the ball. Yet, that seems to be the new norm with Mike Macdonald as the Seahawks’ head coach. Though Sam Darnold’s recent struggles are a concern.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Tampa Bay’s slim playoff odds are slipping away after a wildly unexpected loss to the Saints. Though, to be fair, the Buccaneers have dealt with a dearth of injuries that they just haven’t been able to overcome as of late. Climbing back into the playoff picture will be difficult, but matchups against the Panthers twice and the Dolphins won’t make it any easier.

Tennessee Titans: F

Syndication: The Tennessean
Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Titans played well enough to get their second win of the season Sunday, but there was some luck involved after the Browns botched their two-point conversion. Tennessee hasn’t done anything well, ranking 31st in scoring and 29th in points allowed, but this was always going to be a rebuilding year.

Washington Commanders: F

NFL: Washington Commanders at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

Jayden Daniels’ multiple injuries have helped derail the Commanders’ season, but this is an all-out disaster on both sides of the ball. An NFL team should never lose eight games in a row (unless they’re trying to). The same goes for getting shut out 31-0. At least they should have a decent draft class, thanks to landing some high selection, even after trading some picks away.
