It’s been a while since Kyle Pitts had a 100-yard game. In fact, he hasn’t done so since posting three of them in his rookie season, the last of which came in Week 16 of 2021. But he needs a big game to boost his stock before hitting free agency this offseason, and Kirk Cousins should be plenty motivated after posting a dud last week, too. They’d probably find some extra joy in trying to ruin the Buccaneers’ playoff plans too.
Shedeur Gets More Yards + TD Than Caleb Williams in Browns Win
Caleb Williams may be the No. 1 overall pick, but he’s not playing like it. Meanwhile, all 32 teams passed over Shedeur Sanders multiple times, but he’s actually playing himself into having a future in Cleveland. How sweet would it be for Sanders to outduel Williams, even though the Browns have nothing to play for?
Burrow’s 400-Yard Game Helps Bengals Leap Over Ravens
Burrow and the Bengals have to be playing ticked off after losing a hard-fought battle to the Bills by just five points. Another loss, and the Bengals may have to stick a fork in their season. That’s why we expect Burrow and the rest of the scoring offense to be nearly perfect, knowing another season is on the line.
Chiefs Score 45 in Statement Win Over Chargers
The Chiefs need a win like there’s no tomorrow. We just saw that the Chargers are far from being at their best, which gives Kansas City a bit of extra breathing room for mistakes. Plus, after Mahomes tossed a season-high three interceptions, we expect him to bounce back in a big way.
Josh Allen + Drake Maye Top 300 Yards, Bills Win on Final Drive
Drake Maye and Josh Allen are two of the very best quarterbacks in the NFL today. They’ve both been excellent this season, though Maye has actually been better than the reigning MVP. The Patriots are on a roll, winning their past 10 games. Eventually, they’ll come back down to earth, and it could happen against a familiar division rival that’s scratching and clawing for playoff positioning, too.
Abdul Carter’s 2-Sack Game Helps Giants Tear Down Commanders
Thirteen games into his career, Abdul Carter hasn’t lived up to his potential as the No. 3 overall pick, and now he’s getting called out by Lawrence Taylor. It’s far too early to panic about the 22-year-old, but a big two-sack game would help him enter the offseason with supreme confidence, and it could happen against a Commanders team that’s been in shambles all season long.
Ashton Jeanty’s 100-Yard Game Leads to Raiders Win Over Eagles
The former Boise State superstar hasn’t looked anything like a player worthy of the sixth overall pick. He has just two games with 50 or more rushing yards in his past seven contests. Yet, now that the Raiders have made an offensive coordinator change, we could see Jeanty find more success.
Jakobi Meyers’ 125-Yard Game Fuels Jaguars Past Jets
Even though he’s only been in Duval for five games, Meyers has already been extremely productive, averaging 56.8 yards per game. While he recorded 90 yards against the Titans, the Jets present another big opportunity for Meyers to cash in. We fully expect Trevor Lawrence to pepper his new pass-catcher with five or more targets, and he’ll take one of them for at least 60 yards.
Trey McBride’s 150 Yards Help Cardinals Stifle Texans
There isn’t much to celebrate on the Cardinals this season, but Trey McBride is a bona fide superstar. Jacoby Brissett’s bringing out the best in him, but Arizona has lost five in a row. We could see the Cardinals rely more on their top target this week, with McBride going off for a new season-high 150 yards.
Christian Watson’s 3 TD Game Pushes Packers Past Broncos
Tucker Kraft’s season-ending injury has forced Jordan Love to spread the ball around even more than usual. Yet, he’s found some strong recent success with Christian Watson, who’s averaging a new career-high 64.6 yards per game. He may not have a large yardage total against these Broncos, but the Packers will still need to score touchdowns, and they could look to the 6-foot-4 receiver to get the job done.
Goff’s 350 Yards, Stafford’s 3 INT Help Lions Beat Rams
The classic Jared Goff vs Matthew Stafford showdown will be one of the most anticipated matchups of the week. With Stafford playing at an MVP level, most expect the Rams to take this one. Yet, Goff is the one with the bigger chip on his shoulder after being traded by the Rams. We expect to see him at his best, and his teammates will surely have his back, as always.
Saints Shut Out Panthers in NFC South Divisional Battle
Kellen Moore’s first season hasn’t quite gone according to plan. Yet, the Saints are playing much better as of late, and Tyler Shough’s improved play is a big reason why. Of course, they’ll need their defense to show up too, but the Panthers are still a team that’s battling inconsistency too. In other words, we could still see a shocking shutout here, and we’re not talking about Carolina getting a loss.
Tony Pollard’s 130-Yard Game Powers Titans Past 49ers
Pollard isn’t experiencing the same success as he enjoyed in his first season with the Titans. Yet, he’s coming off a season-high 161-yard, two-touchdown performance. Will Pollard be able to maintain his momentum? It won’t be easy against San Francisco’s defense, but Tennessee’s newfound optimism after a win won’t hurt.
Philip Rivers Leads Colts To Win After 4 Years on Couch
What’s gotten into Philip Rivers? This isn’t the first time he’s flirted with unretiring, but now he’ll have a chance to play for his old QB coach, Shane Steichen, who was working magic with Daniel Jones. Well, Rivers has gobs of experience, and now we’ll get to see just how badly he wants to compete again.
J.J. McCarthy Helps Vikings Score 40 in Win Over Cowboys
The Vikings got just the confidence booster they sorely needed in last week’s win. Now they’ll face another bad defense in Dallas under the lights. More time to practice while being able to correct last week’s mistakes could lead to more success from a very talented Minnesota offense. Plus, Justin Jefferson is itching for a big game again, and it could happen this week.
De’Von Achane’s 150-Yard Day Helps Dolphins Sink Steelers
A lot of his work has gone under the radar while the Dolphins are clawing back into contention. Yet, he’s been one of the NFL’s best running backs, with four games of over 120 rushing yards. With his type of elite speed, we wouldn’t be surprised if Achane puts forth a 150-yard performance against a Steelers team that could use more quickness.
