After a disappointing two-year stretch with Aaron Rodgers raising expectations for a team that hoped to be Super Bowl-bound, the New York Jets are working overtime, trying to ensure Aaron Glenn’s coaching tenure goes better than Robert Saleh’s.
The Jets have moved on from Rodgers by signing Justin Fields to a two-year, $40 million contract. Now, they need to continue reinforcing the roster around their new, dual-threat quarterback.

NFL source doesn’t believe Armand Membou slips past New York Jets

One of the biggest problems the New York Jets have faced over the past few seasons is a porous offensive line. While Pro Football Focus‘ offensive line rankings indicated the Jets had an average line last season, they’ve since let multiple linemen leave via free agency, and 2024 first-round pick Olu Fashanu is still unproven at the NFL level.
Thus, the Jets could use some more offensive line reinforcements this offseason, and they could solve their needs through the 2025 NFL Draft, where New York holds the seventh overall pick in the first round.
In fact, Sportskeeda’s NFL insider Tony Pauline recently revealed a league source’s belief that Missouri offensive tackle prospect Armand Membou won’t make it past the Jets at No. 7.
“I spoke with a league source who told me he believes that if the Patriots pass on Membou, the Jets will swipe him up with the seventh pick (assuming he gets past Jacksonville and the Raiders).”

Membou projects as a left tackle at the NFL level, which would give the Jets a pair of long-term solutions to protect Justin Fields’ blindside along with Fashanu.
